Servicing & Safety
Prioritising Safety & Responsibility
Putting Safety First
We carry out safety checks on all heating systems to make sure you and your home are safe. Before anyone moves in, we thoroughly inspect each property to ensure it’s clean, well-decorated, in good condition, and ready to feel like home.
We also take care of the following: Fire Prevention, Asbestos Management, Legionella prevention, Electrical Safety Testing.
Responsibility
You’re responsible for looking after the inside of your home, including any damage caused by you, your family, or visitors, as well as any decorating you choose to do.
We’ll take care of repairs, and we’re responsible for keeping shared areas and the outside of the property in good condition.
If something needs fixing, just let us know—reporting repairs is part of helping us keep your home safe and comfortable.
Gas Leaks
Turn off the gas at the mains straight away. Don’t use any electrical switches or appliances, and avoid lighting matches or anything else that could cause a spark.
Emergency Repairs
Please try to report repairs during our office hours whenever possible. If something comes up outside of those times, you can still use the contact numbers listed below.
For non-urgent repairs, feel free to email us at hello@housingnetwork.org.uk.
If there’s an emergency repair—day or night—just call the emergency number included in your welcome pack.
